BIANCA HORNBY - EXCEEDING PRACTICE AND INNOVATION LEADER

Bianca is an experienced early childhood education leader with a background in practice excellence, learning innovation, and community engagement. Holding a Bachelor of Education, she has worked across local and international settings in both service-level and management roles, supporting inclusive, high-quality education and care.

Her career includes contributions to not-for-profit and humanitarian organisations, leading projects in Australia and abroad — including work in prisons, war-affected regions, and with asylum seekers and displaced families. These experiences have shaped her strong commitment to equity, belonging, and evidence-informed practice.

As a mother of three, Bianca brings empathy, authenticity, and a deep understanding of the importance of connection in children’s learning and wellbeing. She enjoys travelling to explore early childhood practices around the world, actively seeking evidence-based approaches that can be integrated to strengthen outcomes for children, families, and communities.

These experiences have strengthened her commitment to culturally responsive practice, equity, and a deep sense of belonging for every child and family.

A creative and curious learner herself, Rosalie is committed to ongoing professional development and mentoring others. Outside of work, she loves exploring nature throughout Victoria’s High Country, travelling, and discovering new local food and culture.
